A little Encouragement

Somtimes, it is easy to fall off the wagon. So from time to time I'm going to post little things for encouragement! Today, it's a music video!

When I bought the Zumba disks, it came with a program guide. I quickly lost the guide and created my own schedule. So for the past four weeks I was alternating between Zumba Activate and Zumba Ripped--Activate gives cardio and Ripped gives toning. I haven't done the Zumba Sentao yet because quite frankly I don't have the space in my living room for that. So, I thought it was time to start revving it up right--so I started alternating between Ripped and Exhilerate. Then one day I missed Exhilerate because school and snow day and irritation and all that stuff so I decided the day after to do Ripped and then for the next two days I'd do Exhilerate.

Now, Exhilerate is hard--that's why it's the third disk in. It's also quite long. It has salsa, reggaeton, calypson, belly-dancing, cumbia, merenge, hip-hop, swing, flamenco, there's a little bit of bollywood thrown in there (you don't really notice unless you know bollywood steps) and I think I'm missing a few. Once you've done it a few times you will love it but dang it goes fast. The best part of Exhilerate is that it has a cool down period at the end where it forces you to stretch your muscles...DO NOT SKIP THIS PART. This is where your muscle gets a chance to slowly slow down because after doing all the dance types above, you need that cool down period.
So for the last three days I've been doing Exhilerate because tomorrow is weight in day. But I have been enjoying doing Exhilerate because I get to shake what ma momma gave me lol. But starting tomorrow its going back to alternating between ripped and Exhilerate.

Try not to miss days. Because when you missed days you can't just pick up where you missed because if you're like me it throws off the whole thing. So now I'm caught up...well I over did the exhilerate but who cares! It was fun!

For breakfast this morning, I had one of those Silhoutte yogurts (blueberry) along with a half of orange, a cup of water and a handful of grapes.  Why such a small breakfast? Well the night before I had dinner late--not because I wanted to but because I was working and didn't really plan like i should have.  But I had a small dinner, and then because I was eating soon after breakfast, I didn't want to bog my system down with a whole bunch of carbs to go sit in the office. So the small breakfast was my way of doing my part to help me stay awake.

Anyways, I have to go get some writing done and find a way to remain sane until work is over.

hugs,
Kay
